Today is my eldest brother birthday. It is still July 11th here, but in Malaysia it is July 12th. Malaysia is about 13 hours ahead of US time. Happy birthday brother! I decided to start a tradition to make birthday e-cards for family and friends with photos I took. This photo was taken in the Hong Kong International Airport during my trip home to Malaysia early this year. On my way to Malaysia, I had to transit in Hong Kong. After about 14 hours of flying, it was nice to walk around for a bit. And, to my amazement, I discovered this joyous space! It is a playground for kids inside the transit terminal. It is a very neat space with small chairs, colorful carpet, block toys and a big TV showing children programs. :0)

This morning, I emptied out my piggy bank and went to a yard sales in town. This vintage matchbox was one of the cool things I found there. It was printed in 1955 by the Ohio Match CO. The dimensions of the box: 4.75″x2.5″x1.5″. I love the colorful drawing and design of the matchbox. It amazed me that someone kept this cardboard matchbox so well for more than half of a century! I am glad that he/she did. :0)
