Moon jellyfish

My friend Mei Ho was visiting from NYC. We went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium for the first time! Right now, they are having the jellyfish exhibition. We saw a variety of jellyfish in various shapes and colors. However, my favorite is the moon jellyfish. They look amazingly beautiful. Their movement is so graceful and dreamy. We also went to an education movie about the jellyfish. These amazing creatures have no brain, spine or heart!

    Hi Sheau!
Thanks for sending your blog’s URL. You know I live close to Monterey and visit the aquarium very often. I too love the jellyfish, especially the orange ones against the blue background.
Did you know that I am planning to go to Indonesia next year? I will visit the south-eastern part of Sumatra. This trip is a resource for my MFA degree which I will start at SJSU this Fall.
Just got back from a 6-week trip through the USA by car!Hope all is well!
    Greetings,
    Hedwig

Hedwig! Thank you for stopping by. It is nice to hear from you. Sorry that you come back to this heat! Would love to hear about your 6-week trip. Mayalsia is right next to Sumatra. I live on the southern tip of the West peninular right above Singapore. Your trip sounds fascinating. What are you going to research there? Do you plan to visit places outside of Indonesia? I will be taking classes in the Fall. Hope to see you sometimes. Your web site is beautiful. I love the B&W image with snow on chairs. :0)
